Marc Piévic

After training as an engineer at the University of Technology of Compiègne, Marc Piévic graduated with a DEA in microbiology and enzyme technologies from the same university and a DEA in the Philosophy of Science from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne under the direction of Professor Anne Fagot-Largeault, a member of the Academy of Sciences and professor at the Collège de France. He began his professional career in business Operations and Management, involved in everything from distribution and sales to production and training, before becoming a professional consultant for skills development. In 2000, Marc Piévic was named Executive Officer of the Ostad Elahi Foundation for Ethics and Human Solidarity. He is currently a member of the Council on Ethics for Research (CER) of the University of Paris Descartes and a member of the ethics Committee of the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School.
